Macbeths Change Through Lady Macbeth Essay What would make any man change himself and his personality? Marriage? Without a doubt, Macbeths real tragedy is his marriage. Macbeth changed from good to evil from Lady Macbeths influence through manipulation and her dominance in her marriage role. From the beginning Lady Macbeth is viewed as very controlling, strong, and certain. ââ¬Å"First, she has very little regard for her husbands humanity and actually derides him for being too full oth milk of human kindnessâ⬠(Thompson 1). This shows how cold Lady Macbeth is, as milk is the food of new born children, she is implying Macbeth is too much like a kind child to murder anyone. Once Macbeth has the courage to tell her he does not want to continue with the murder she rallies, calling him a ââ¬Ëcowardââ¬â¢, saying that if he could murder Duncan ââ¬Ëhe were a manââ¬â¢. This to Macbeth, a proud and mighty warrior is a deep insult, and he soon is convinced that he will carry out the murder. Macbethââ¬â¢s real tragedy is his marriage lies with the fault of his wife Lady Macbeth (Thompson 1). ââ¬Å"Macbeths violent behavior is correctly understood as, and deemed to be, bravery because it is in service of his friends and cousins. His loyalty is what is being lauded. But, mangled by the blood-spotted hands of his wife, he becomes a traitor to his brother band and to himself. Her monomaniacal ambition changes him into a monster.â⬠She is literally awakened by her blind and vaulting ambition to realize she did not want the kind of man she thought she wanted (Scheil 2). ââ¬Å"She is desperate to fit in with her husbands warrior society, and fails to do so.â⬠Lady Macbethââ¬â¢s downfall comes more quickly than Macbeths when we see her weaknesses coming through, only on her own however. We see that she is troubled by guilt, saying that they never should have murdered Duncan. Sheââ¬â¢s a guilty wreck; she is sleepwalking and talking gibberish. She says ââ¬ËWhat, will these hands never be clean? These words echo her word earlier in the play, when she talks of washing ââ¬Ëtheir hands of this deedââ¬â¢; she has now realized that the guilt that has overcome her will never leave. She willingly commits suicide leaving her husband not to mourn her passing but to simply comment ,â⬠She should have died hereafterâ⬠ââ¬Å"Macbeths life of striving for greatness, as he himself now realizes, has blossomed into no more than a withered leafâ⬠(Pellikha 2). Macbeth no longer fears anything, for he has seen too much violence and fear to be affected anymore. ââ¬Å"Macbeth, on the other hand, determines not to surrender and not to fall upon his sword, for at the end his overconfidence blinds him to any possible dangerâ⬠(Thompson 7).

Attitude Towards Love in Valentine and The Flea Essay -- Poetry Poems
Through Close Analysis of Language, Structure and Theme, Compare and Contrast the Poet's Attitude Towards Love in Valentine and The Flea. The two poems "Valentine" and "The Flea" are about the two different ways in which the poets portray their views about love, however the poems are still linked in a few ways. "The Flea was published in the seventeenth century and was written by 'John Donne'. "Valentine" was published in 1983 and was written by 'Carol Ann Duffy'. Both poems are addressed to an unknown lover. The poem "Valentine" is written in free-verse form. Carol Ann Duffy could have used this irregular pattern because of the irregular present that she is giving to her lover. "Not a red rose or satin heart. I give you an onion." When you first read the poem you think that an onion is an absurd present to give to a lover but after analysis, you realise that she is trying to portray a message to us: It is not what is on the outside that counts. Duffy uses quite a lot of imagery in her poem to explain her message to the reader. "It is a moon wrapped in brown paper." This could be referring to the moon as a pure object that you first have to unwrap and explore before you can find the real meaning of it. It is also linking back to her point that it may look a bit unromantic from the outside but it is really what is inside that counts. She could be saying this because of her lover's attitude towards women. Maybe the lover only thinks about what the people look like, not what they really are is like inside. Duffy then comments on the emotional feelings that love could bring into a relationship. "It will blind you with tears like a lover." When you cut an onion it makes you cry, and usually... ...lood from his lover and that is what all fleas do. Donne then again emphasises the idea that now because of the flea's death some life has been taken from his lover. "Will waste, as this flea's death took life from thee." This puts forward the idea of some life being taken from his lover because part of her was contained inside the flea. At first the two poems appear very different but after close inspection links can be established between the two poems. I think Carol Ann Duffy's poem is the more serious of the two as she is using an unusual item to portray her feelings for her lover. John Donne is just worried about getting his lover into to bed using the idea of the flea instead of wanting to portray his feelings towards his lover. He is too overconfident with himself that he will get the girl into bed with him when in the end he doesn't succeed.

Zara is a brand that can satisfied people especially in the UAE because it products many of unique clothes, bags and shoes in a good price to be one of famous brand and known in the world. Spanish brand and one of a famous brand in the world which that is specialized in clothing and it founded by Ortega Goanna and Rosalie Mere in 1975. Brief background information about the brandZara is Spanish brand and one of a famous brand in the world which that is specialized in clothing and it founded by Ortega Goanna and Rosalie Mere in 1975. Zara known as one of the big and major selling brands and fashion retailer in the world and it is available in 86 countries in the world like Spanish which has a big number of Zara's shop, Germany, Morocco and the UAE. Zara has around 1763 shops around the world which can make a big seller and profit for Zara. Zara started to be distributed in 1957 for different countries in the world and they opened there shops in the Middle East during 1998 until 2000 in different countries such as the UAE, Kuwait and Egypt. Zara has different lines fashion for different categories like male, female and kids too and they focus on fast and practical fashion which is product in weeks.Consumer productThere several useful product that Zara provides to its customers. However, we chose makeup for women. We as female like to wear makeup always and we want Zara to produce those product because of the quality of their products. Like foundation is important one and lipsticks and mascara those are the main. These product will serve women specific the young girl because they like beauty cosmetics. The strength is the quality that Zara use with manufacturing its product so customer won't suffer from it although the weakness is the competitors like H&M they offer makeup for their customer with high quality and lower prices. B- Marketing Opportunities We have some idea, it will help Zara shop to improve and be better they can attract the customers through price cut and build more Zara shop in many different places it will be easy to visit this shop and buy more products, I think when Zara shop do the offers that will help them to find many customers. Product development is the creation of products with new or different characteristics that offer new or additional benefits to the customer, the process consists of the following stages coming up with a product idea, researching the idea, designing and planning.à Primary Research We evaluated the survey of people opinions about Zara. A total of twenty response, seventy five percent (75) were female. And twenty- five (25) percent were male. Most people were between two and thirteenth, and few of them were between fourteenth and twenty. We analyze the response in orders of question, and it turned out a huge amount of people prefer to visit Zara more than the other shop because they have excellent products. Not also they own one but even they think it reliable. From the study, most people who responded agrees to buy a product from Zara greater than the other products. According to the survey a small percentage of people are willing to buy this moment. On the other hand, slight amount of people is not interested in purchasing more products because it is very expensive and some people they don't have the Zara shop in your country. Or it depends on some people taste and that's why they don't see Zara shop as a first choice. However, Zara company improve their products and service quality to coming up with a product.Marketing opportunities:The marketing opportunity is ââ¬Å"A potentially favorable condition in which a business can capitalize on a changing trend or an increasing demand for a product by a demographic group ââ¬Å"(Investors words, N.D).We think marketing opportunity linked to its productivity development. We are now in the era of innovation, so all people look forward exotic and creative things. The company is willing to spend lots of money on attractive advertisements for this new products. Cosmetics products serve women to look more shine and beautiful. As well as it will help them with suitable prices that we put. The products will have the brand logo and label, so that it distinguished from other makeup brands. However, the packaging it will be freak, clear and attractive also with low cost so the makeup won't be expensive. 6.2 Proposed price:Zara sits the price range depends on some factors such as countries, economy and number of costs, so every country has a different price of Zara's brand. Also, Germany has different prices from the UAE, so they have a high price for the products more than the UAE or other countries in the Middle East who have Zara Brand because the economy is different and the cost too. In addition, Zara tries to give people a good quality of clothes at affordable prices so that can bring a lot of profit for Zara. The pricing in Zara in the UAE is around 115AED ââ¬â 500AED. Moreover, cosmetics like lipstick is 29 AED, blusher 20 AED, foundation 80 AED, eyeshadow plate 55 AED and mascara 32 AED. Value: Zara gives people one of the unique and fashionable clothes in the world with good price that all people can buy. Zara uses pull system in their stores and produce a small quantity of each style because of big numbers of styles that they produce each month. Zara uses a good manufacturing method to avoid any threat that they face such as some disruptions because the weather and factory problems which can effect on the production. In addition, it is an important for any company to build their values to make their brand one of the famous brand in the world, so Zara makes this value by the trust with their customers and give them a good quality of clothes. The value in Zara is around 13 billion in a year and more than 3 million customers around the world. Cost:The high cost requires a lot of money and profit to make a sustainable profitability. The advertising and store promotion cost 3.5% from their revenue, the company does not cost alt of money on their advertising but they said that the company invested around 450$ million on commercials and logistics area. In addition, the sales index's increased to 6%. Competitor: There are a lot of competitors of Zara such as H&M and Mango because they are two big companies that can make some challenge to Zara. There are some similarity and difference between these three companies such as Zara is product fast fashion for different categories like male, female and kids and H&M products for the same categories too but for practical and fashionable designs but Mango is special for only male and female without kids. The distribution in the world, H&M has more distributed in the world more than Zara and Mango so that can effect on the number of the profit too because H&M has a big profit in a year more than these two. The competitors also provide the similar techniques of promotion but Zara have to create creative and innovative promotion .For example in occasion it provide new collection with a good prices. 6.3 Proposed place:There are a lot of methods that Zara uses to be more distributed like having a lot of retail outlets in different countries.Also, Spain has a big number of Zara's shops in the world, so this is a kind of exclusive distribution. In UAE we have many stores of Zara which are located in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, AlAin and Sharjah. The survey results show that Zara company should open new brunches like in Fujairah and Ajman. We prefer to open Zara in each city in UAE because to make it easy to access to it.We also think that Zara has to open new section which is Makeup. Makeup attracts women to come and buy. Because of the quality and suitable prices that will support people to buy.If Zara makes offers this will cause more distribution and this will help Zara to be more effective. 6.4 Proposed promotion: The brand should focus on promotion to be more famous in the world and because a lot of people these days use the internet and websites to do shopping and see the new products so the brand should focus on website, some application like Facebook and Instagram help Zara to have a lot of customers from different countries. Nowadays, people use social media all the time, Zara has to join to social media to attract people by commercial advertising in Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. Moreover, release posters on the streets. Finally, they can put an advertisement in the cinema and television. In Dubai shopping festival, Zara takes the advantage of the opportunity and make offers that are the local people and foreigners happy with it. Conclusion Our report maintains data that we collected about Zara brand and how it began, who is the founder of, where is it location. Zara known as brand that has high quality of products and services that is it provides and manufacture. Zara organization is successful and the best brand between its competitors' and has huge number of clients. Also the Zara company continues to develop itself always in order to not lose the customers. The prices are reachable and suitable for all people. ` Virgin and Child (Vladimir Virgin) is a medieval Byzantine icon. This icon is dated from the late 11th century and the early 12thcentury. This work is about a virgin and child, the Virgin being St. Mary and the child being Jesus Christ. Unlike other icons of the Virgin and Child, this icon shows a more personalized and compassionate image of the Virgin. Here St. Mary the virgin is shown to be tender even in the way she is holding the child. The iconographer is unknown. However, the icon was painted in Constantinople by a Hellenic iconographer. The Vladimir Virgin is the most eminent middle Byzantine icon that was produced in Russia. The Vladimir Virgin is currently in the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, it is tempera on wood panel, with multiple layers of repainting, 2ââ¬â¢ 61/2â⬠x 1ââ¬â¢ 9â⬠. In this icon Mary is shown to be the Virgin of Compassion. She is pressing her cheek against her son and contemplating his future. Salary based payment refers to a reward scheme where the payment is a specific amount with no bonus or extra amounts even in exemplary performance. Competence-based payment relates to the reward structure where payment is based on one's level of skills, knowledge, and experience obtained as opposed to a job title. Besides, I learned on the pay structures including career family pay structure. The structure is characterized by a single grade structure with each grade divided into a job family such as those belonging to operations, administration, and marketing. Inside the system, a common feature is used to evaluate the performance of the system as the tasks are similar. On the other hand, a job family pay structure resembles the career family pay structure nut only differs in the grading system where each job has a unique pay structure based on the roles played by individuals in the society (Armstrong and Taylor 2014). Determining the Structure of a Remuneration and Performance Pay structures in organizations depend on the externals factors that affect business. For instance, if the government sets the base pay at a point, firms cannot employ individuals and pay them based on the performance. Organizations through their policies set their pay gap limiting what should be earned on the lowest and the highest amounts to be earned by individuals in an organization. Every career has a pay grade stipulated by the government through the labor union that assists in setting a cap on the salary scale of individuals (Kolk. and Perego 2014). In this respect, it affects the pay structure of businesses. Organizations have to consider the recommendation whenever setting or creating their pay structures. Besides, I learned of the several legislations affecting a pay scale in organizations. Regulations on gender have to be observed while selecting and paying employees to provide a balance in the pay. In this case, a base pay has to be set on workers to prevent discrimination in pay based on the gender. Equality agencies also play a critical role in affecting the pay structures set in organizations. I discovered during the study of the roles played by the equality agency that champions for an equal pay among individuals working in a given sector. On the other hand, pay structures are influenced by the cost of living existent in an environment. Businesses running in places with low living costs determine low wages for individuals to meet their daily needs. For instance, the cost of housing, food, and entertainment remain low thus prompting for a lower salary that can cater for the same. On the other hand, environments with a high cost of living call for increased salaries that match the demands of the society (Kolk and Perego 2014). In this case, the pay structures in organizations are determined by the cost of living in a given environment. Moreover, I learned the role of unions in determining the pay structure selected in organizations. Unions serve the role of collective bargaining which determines a number of money individuals receive for certain tasks (Gupta and Shaw 2014). Besides, they determine the working conditions and the compensation schemes accorded to workers. In this respect, they determine the amount of money to be paid by organizations which can be reviewed upwards according to life demands. Labor market conditions also affect the pay structure to be used in organizations. The demand and supply of workers in organizations determine the pay one individual receives. For instance, areas with limited numbers of medical professionals raise the amount of money to be paid to meet the competitive nature of the supply of labor (Kolk and Perego 2014). In this case, workers will be paid higher as opposed to a case where there are several employees who give the workers less bargaining power. Profitability is another external factor that affects the pay structure selected by a firm. The profit ratio realized in a firm determines whether to pay workers through the performance based pay or the fixed salary. Companies dealing in marketing efforts would opt to use the pay on performance to boost their profits and remunerate employees based on the marketing efforts achieved (Kolk and Perego 2014). Selecting a salary based one would impede the firm from making profits and thus proves to be less efficient in driving revenues for the firm. Therefore, I learned the importance of focusing on the external factors in an environment whenever selecting the type of pay structure to use. Making Benefits a Compulsory Employee benefits refer to the sets of benefits employees acquire during and after employment apart from the normal pay. The benefits include aspects such as medical cover, prescription, relocating assistance, insurance plans, and retirement benefits (Dau-Schmidt, Finkin and Covington 2016). The benefits go a long way to improve and reduce the cost of living for employees through the several assistance programs given through employee benefits. In this respect, benefits to employees should be made mandatory to offer a blanket cover to workers. I feel the necessary nature of benefits on employees to assist them to cut down on the costs of living especially in cases where employees get sick. On the other hand, making benefits a compulsory enables organization increase career growth among their workers by having learning initiatives where workers can be sponsored for courses. It is difficult for individuals to make the self sacrifice and save money to invest in education and other activities. However, the ability to secure benefits from institutions is essential towards guaranteeing growth from the benefits (Dau-Schmidt, Finkin and Covington 2016). Employees ought to be covered through an insurance program present only for those who decide to follow the benefits.
